Last weekend finally we were able to visit the famous Mercado de Motores in Madrid. Mercado de Motores is a flea market that has been running for several months in the second weekend of each month at Museo del Ferrocarril in Madrid.
I guess because of the holidays there was such affluence of people so the queue went around the block and we waited (no exaggeration) about 40 minutes to enter.
But it was worth the wait because the atmosphere inside was magical, live music, a terrace with the splendid sun of Madrid, super original and beautiful booths… The Museo del Ferrocarril in Madrid (old Delicias station) is a very charming place and it’s worth a visit to see a part of the machinery and know the history of the railway in Spain.
There is also a very large zone of second hand goods, but we runned out of time and we didn’t have time to see it, definitely we’ll come back!
