Last weekend I went to take a walk to the DIY Show Christmas Edition. This time the location was in the beautiful Palacio de Neptuno in Madrid. I’ve never been there before and I loved their windows, it’s a really special place!
The guys from Tarjeteria Solidaria were there with a lot of beautiful Christmas cards. I heard about them through Laura from A Happy Day’s Collage and it’s really is a lovely project in which through scrapbooking and good vibes are helping the ones in need. On this occasion they raised funds for Avante 3, an association that is responsible for the promotion of people with intellectual disabilities.
Another reason to go to the DIY Show was to attend the fabric design workshop conducted by Estrella Arias, who shared advices and anecdotes from her career as a designer and her journey with her own brand Oh! … Oh! Nice to meet you Estrella!
As in the previous edition there were many stand with all kind of craft stuff: sewing, knitting, pastry, makeup …
The guys from DaWanda were there also promoting all the crafters who are part of their community. Thank you!
I took the opportunity to get a copy of Sugar Tremens confectionery magazine and greet their creators that are very nice. Being a fan of yummy things I could not pass up the chance!
So far I’ve bought “El Anuario“ (number 0) and “Muerte Por Chocolate“ (number 1), but also they are about to release the next issue and I don’t want to miss it! The magazine is really delightful, you can notice it’s made with love, with a beautiful design and to die for recipes. I will show you here one of them!
