DIY Pennants Garland

There are many ways to make a pennants garland. I have chosen the one I found easier and faster so I can keep many pieces of fabrics that I like, such as a very nice fabric my boyfriend brought to me from Cameroon last year. I made it to decorate a room in our house, but it can be used as decoration at parties, birthdays, fairs and several occasions.

To cut the pennants I used pieces of fabric of size 14 x 20 centimeters. Once cut the pennants I’ve stuck a piece of interfacing with the iron to give them consistency and then I cut the edges with a zigzag scissors to prevent fraying.

Finally I put them together with bias tape of cotton, this is the result.
